reCAPTCHA V2 is a free service from Google that helps protect websites from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA uses an advanced risk analysis engine and adaptive challenges to keep automated software from engaging in abusive activities on your site(s), while allowing your valid users to pass through with ease.
To implement reCAPTCHA in your Pressero site(s), you must first set up a reCAPTCHA V2 account with Google at this link, https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin, and register the domain(s) you intend to use with your Pressero account. Obtain reCAPTCHA keys from Google at the link above, then enable reCAPTCHA in Pressero at the Admin level in Preferences > General Settings. Then to set up reCAPTCHA at the site level, go to the Sites > [select site] > Settings >General tab and enable reCAPTCHA for each of your sites.
To set up reCAPTCHA at the Admin level:
- Go to Preferences > General Settings > reCAPTCHA.
- Click the Enable reCAPTCHA Integration check box.
- Enter the Site Key in the field provided.
- Enter Secret Key in the field provided.
- Click Save.
To set up reCAPTCHA at the site level:
- Go to Sites > [select site] > Settings > General > reCAPTCHA.
- Click the Enable reCAPTCHA Security – check box.
- Click Save.

Continuing Updates to Payment Methods
We are continuing to encourage users to update their payment methods in an effort to better protect your customers’ financial information. As a reminder, all Pressero subscribers are affected by this update. The target date for completion is October 9. We want to hear back from you if you have issues – please contact us at email@example.com.
What action is required for Pressero subscribers?
Pressero subscribers must re-enter all of their Payment Methods for the following payment methods:
- Re-enter existing Authorize.Net CIM or Authorize.Net Standard method(s) as “Authorize.Net Hosted”
- Re-enter existing CyberSource method(s) as “CyberSource Hosted”
- Re-enter existing Moneris method(s) as “Moneris Hosted”
- Re-enter existing PayFlow Payments Gateway method(s) and PayPal Payments Pro method(s) as “PayFlow Pro Hosted”
Note:Follow these steps to request your Payflow Pro credentials within a PayPal Payments Pro account for use when integrating to your shopping cart where Payflow credentials are necessary. What is the timeframe?
We have a target date for shutoff of the old methods of October 9.
